Message from the IPCA President

Dear Chess Friends,

Welcome to the new IPCA website!

We have had a difficult year. In a pandemic, all face-to-face competitions were canceled. But chess is a multi-faceted game and offers many possibilities. As an alternative to face-to-face competitions, online platforms began to develop. And we were among the first to host the online IPCA World Championship in 2020 under the patronage of the Israel Chess Federation. Also took part in the FIDE competitions:

  • FIDE Cups for adults and children
  • Online – World Chess Olympiad
  • Online – World Chess Olympiad for the disabled.

FIDE rules have been amended, and online competitions also become official competitions, participation in which allows you to receive official ratings and titles.
We are planning to expand the calendar of our online events and will inform you about this shortly.

But we hope that the restrictions will be lifted and we will meet with you at our face-to-face competitions. In 2021, it is planned to host the IPCA World Championship in Israel, the FIDE World Championship in the USA, the World Chess Olympiad in Russia, the IPCA Rapid and Blitz Championship in Spain.

Despite the absence of face-to-face competitions, the Presidential Council has done a great job over the past 2020. The IPCA organization was registered in Spain, and it is planned to open an organization in the USA.

You are now on the new version of our site. It offers great opportunities. Taking an active part in his life, each of you helps to develop our organization: to increase the prize fund, to hold more competitions. Feel free to follow the sponsored links, like the video and subscribe to our channels.

If you have coaching experience and desire to work, you can leave your application and we will find you students!
If you are a good blogger and you have something to tell people, you are welcome to our team!
If our activity is close to you, we invite partners to cooperate!
