What To Give

Giving cash is simple, but giving assets such as stocks often offers additional tax savings.
The simplest way to support IPCA is through cash gifts. But creative gifts of assets can include stocks, bonds, and property (real estate and personal property such as artwork). These can not only provide you with charitable deductions, but often offer additional tax savings as well.

Choose the category of assets below that best fits your situation.

Gifts of Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards

A gift of cash is easy to make.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities

Smart gift planning combines charitable intent with cost-efficient planning techniques.

Gifts of Life Insurance

Life insurance may fund a gift or replace the value of a gifted asset.
Tangible Personal Property
Tangible property contributions provide charitable deductions based on a standard of “related use.”

Gifts of Real Estate

Most kinds of real estate may be donated to IPCA.

Closely Held Business Stock

Business owners contributing closely held stock are allowed a charitable deduction.

Vehicle Donation

Support IPCA by donating a car, boat, motorcycle, truck, or other vehicle. When you make a donation, your vehicle is resold at an auction, and the proceeds go to IPCA. For more information, please call (866) xxx-xxxx toll-free, or click here. ( in the process of activation)

Matching Gifts

An easy way to double your contribution to IPCA is through employee giving programs. Many corporations match employee donations (or the tax deductible component of your membership).
Thank you for checking if your company offers these programs. We hope you will take a minute to see if your company offers an employee matching gift program – grants that could equal hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars for IPCA.

Making a Charitable Gift of Stock

IRA Gifts

Consider supporting IPCA through your annual distributions from your IRA, or by making IPCA a beneficiary of your retirement account.

Donor-Advised Fund Gifts

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is an excellent opportunity to involve you and your family in a long-term charitable giving plan.

You may establish a donor-advised fund with a charitable sponsor simply by signing an agreement and then making a contribution to the fund. Charitable fund sponsors include many community foundations as well as the charitable arms of for-profit financial institutions. A few of these include Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, the Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program, and Chicago Community Trust.
